The C. Everett Koop National Health Award recognizes population health promotion and improvement programs. Each year, awards are presented by The Health Project’s leadership to winning organizations as part of the annual HERO Forum each fall.
This past September, The Health Project recognized three outstanding programs for their achievements in the field of health promotion and disease prevention. With the tradition of awarding programs with demonstrated health improvements, coupled with cost savings, the C. Everett Koop Award has been instrumental in promoting the measurement and evaluation of evidence-based, workplace health promotion programs.
